Hope and a Future for NEPAL

Jeremiah 29:11

Nepal, a strong Hindu/Buddhist nation in political and economic turmoil, provides an exciting opportunity to bring the hope found only in Christ. Only a few years ago, there were about 10 Assemblies of God churches in the whole country.

Now many churches are being planted, but some pastors have to lead 4 or more congregations. So we see the importance of Bible school and leadership training.

Contrast this --

-- with wheels sending out 1000 prayers at each touch, and prayer flags which are bought and flown from the top of the temple, under the "all-seeing eyes" of Buddha

Ishwar and Bhairabi Joshi, our students in 2004, are planting churches in a hard, dangerous area of Nepal. PRAY!!
