SEEKING TO REACH OUR POTENTIAL

A few years ago, we drove through the beautiful redwood forests of California. We drove through a tree trunk, stood in one, walked in a house made of one log. Each tree comes from a tiny seed weighing only 85 mg., but can grow to 83 meters and weight 5,715 tons! All is has to do to
REACH IT'S POTENTIAL
is let it's DNA do its work.

These 3 months we have taught at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, where Everett was President in the '70s and '80s. We were reminded how God works uniquely to help each individual REACH THEIR GOD-GIVEN POTENTIAL..

Several of our former students are now in leadership positions in APTS, as well as in other countries. In many Bible schools, the presidents and deans are now our “bosses.” Not only are they REACHING THEIR POTENTIAL, but through them WE ARE REACHING OUR POTENTIAL as well.

  1. NEW APTS President,Yee Tham Wan, and his wife.
  2. New Testament scholar, Roli.
  3. Dean of Students/Counselor/teachers, Lem and Rose.

Other former students are REACHING THEIR POTENTIAL ministering to forgotten or neglected peoples.

Erly, with scoliosis and a crippled leg, climbs mountains to reach people.

Pastor Mel has a thriving congregation and is planting others in depressed areas of Manila.

Ely and Nena, single mothers of adopted children, are pioneering churches by faith where others would hesitate to go.

And now, we are teaching children of former students—3 generations REACHING THEIR POTENTIAL!

Melody's pastor father was our student in Taiwan over 30 years ago.

William's parents were our students in APTS in the early '80s. Evelyn played for their wedding!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  1. Anointing and safety as we teach in Nepal Bible school, a strong Hindu-Buddhist country, in late March.
  2. A brief break to have Evelyn's eyes checked and to get new trifocals.
  3. Teaching in 2 missionary-training schools in Romania, April/May to help many REACH THEIR POTENTIAL.

NOTE: It is so exciting to see GOD's faithfulness to provide ALL our needs when we arae faithful to His call. We know that many of you are finding HIM faithful also. THANKS for your continuing support and prayers!
