THE CAMPUS

What a delight and amazing opportunity to teach at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary in Baguio, Philippines, these 3 months (January-March)!

APTS is located in the northern mountains, set among pine trees. A mile high, the climate is moderate and very conducive to study. It may just be the most beautiful campus in the world!

APTS has over 90 students from many countries of AsiaPacific region as well as from nations as far away as Ghana and the USA! Truly they come from the Eastern and Western, the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

In our classes, we have students from at least 15

countries-Taiwan: Thailand, Korea, Japan, Northern Asia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Philippines, East Timor, Fiji, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Ghana, and America. Several are from restricted countries. All will go back- some to face certain persecution, but they are determined to reach the unreached. They understand their mission and purpose.

Let us tell you of Joshua from Ghana (see photo at right). He was a pastor's son and had a "drug" problem as a child-his parents "drug" him to church every time the doors were open. In high school, he rebelled and even doubted the truth he had been taught. He became very angry inside.

One day, when alone, he followed his sister to camp. There friendly people reached out to him and he gave his life to Christ. He is one of the most radiant Christians and is passionate to rescue other teens.

What a privilege is ours to touch the lives of those who will soon return to East, West, North, and South to reach the unreached and plant churches in seemingly impossible places!

Missions Convention in a Philippine Church

Everett preached the missions convention in the church pastored by a former student. In a formerly very depressed area, things are better now, and they are mothering church plants both in rural and urban areas. The challenge is for all to be involved in missions wherever the Lord plants them. There are 100,000 families in reach of this church!

Many responded to the call to be ready to "give what they have" to the lost around them.

The same morning there was a religious procession honoring a saint. We need intercessors!
