Following the Plan

We greet you from Myanmar. We'll report on the ministry here next letter. But now we want to reflect a little with you.

Jesus left us with a BIG TASK, but He also gave us THE PLAN (Matthew 28:19-20): Make disciples, and teach them to obey everything I have taught. We are to make disciples who can make disciples who can make disciples!! Or we can say it: reach and teach others who can reach and teach others who can reach and teach others!! That is THE PLAN. We must not break the chain. There is no other plan.

Let us show you some of the FRUIT of our Following The Plan: pastors, Bible school teachers, church planters, and missionaries who "reach and teach" in places we cannot go.

Indian planning to go to Iraq
Reaching mountain tribes in the Philippines
Victor fenced field for services in Moldova - persevered in spite of extreme persecution
He walked, rode a boat, bus, & train to learn church-planting skills for work in the far north of Myanmar.
Ishwar and Bhairabi are from a high caste, but they reach all castes, including "untouchables" in 3 Nepali villages. Their people pray earnestly for souls.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  1. Continued open doors for ministers in Myanmar-under military rule & opposition by Buddhists.
  2. Strength, wisdom, provision for national cross-cultural missionaries.
  3. September ministry in Mongolia.
  4. October ministry in Singapore.
  5. Guidance for our grandchildren.
  6. Son Steve (wife Joy) - missionary pastor of internat'l church in Indonesia & involved in many relief ministries (flood, earthquake, food).
Born to a comfortable life in France, this Vietnamese is going to "reach and teach" in Vietnam.
What do these Romanians and this Filipina have in common? A passion to reach Turkey with the Gospel!
Filipino, American, and Cambodian-all with a passion to plant churches across Cambodia. Dareth at 10 lost both parents in Cambodian killing fields. He escaped to America, raised by Americans in a comfortable life, but chose to return to Cambodia to Follow the Plan.
We could show you many others who are laboring in difficult fields, such as China, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, but printing their pictures would place them and their work in jeopardy. All will be revealed in "that great day" when we all present our sheaves to the Master. You who have prayed and helped us to "reach and teach others who can reach and teach others" will share in the reward.

SPECIAL NOTE: We are sending prayer letters to many churches and people by email. This saves at least $1.00 per letter. If you would like to receive our letter by email, please send us a message. We are happy to send a hard copy if you can use it better in that form. Just inform us!
Thanks for partnering with us! Together, we reach around the world.
