FROM MANY NATIONS TO MANY NATIONS
January through March we taught at our seminary in northern Philippines. This school serves Asia Pacific and Northern Asia, and also attracts students from other countries. We have had students from Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Japan, Malaysia, Samoa, Fiji, Pakistan, Czech Republic, some restricted countries, and the United States! Most of the students left campus immediately after graduation to begin their ministries in many countries. The challenge of the commencement message was to go with Jesus “to the other side” (Mk 4:35), where great needs, great evangelization, and great miracles await.
We preached in mountain churches, including one where we had to cross a swinging foot bridge. The Church is in distance on left. They grow crops to help support pastor and church.
Two graduates are second generation students – their parents were our students some years ago!
Rebecca and father Zia from Pakistan
William with parents Fred and Monica from Philippines
Former students also have heavy responsibilities: Kei in Japan works with the Distance Learning Program for Central Bible College; several former students are APTS Board members or APTS faculty!
